12 August, 2014

Brisbane City Council today announced the extension of the $5 discounted off-peak parking offer at the King George Square and Wickham Terrace car parks.

Deputy Mayor Adrian Schrinner said the off-peak parking deals that offered a discount of more than 58 precent on the normal rate, had been extremely popular and as a result would be continuing.

“The deals that were created to mark the launch of Council’s new online parking portal, brisbaneparkingguide.com.au, will now be extended,” Cr Schrinner said.

“By extending these parking offers, Council aims to encourage even more visitors to inner-city restaurants, events and attractions during evening and weekend periods.

“Visitors and residents travelling to the CBD, Valley and inner-city areas will continue to be save time and money by searching for competitive parking deals at brisbaneparkingguide.com.au.”
