Condolence book at City Hall for victims of Typhoon Haiyan

Lord Mayor Graham Quirk has announced a condolence book to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan will be available for signing at City Hall from 8.30am today.

“This is an opportunity for the people of Brisbane to send a message of condolence to those who have lost their lives as a result of the typhoon that has devastated many parts of the Philippines,” he said.

“The messages will be presented to the people of the Republic of the Philippines as an expression of the city’s sorrow and sympathy for those who have lost loved ones.”

The book will be available for signing from 8.30am-5pm daily until Friday 22 November at the King George Square foyer of City Hall.
